Here’s a story that run from East London youth-club decks to the heat of Ibiza’s house circuit.
Raised on soul, funk, disco, jazz-funk, dub, and reggae before acid house changed the map, Lucci became closely tied to the Bar M / Manumission era — the kind of open-air, hands-in-the-sun environment that makes a title like “Balearic Blessings” a remarkable memory.
Created with Steve Andrews, at the time a UK DJ associated with Ministry of Sound London known for reshaping records through remixes and re-edits, the track sits at the crossroads of island energy and late-’90s house movement.
