What if every Thursday sounded like a discovery?

Hello everyone,

We’ve got an idea brewing — and we’d love to bring it to life with your help.

What if every Thursday, we released a batch of freshly unearthed music on Revibed — tracks that are guaranteed to be unavailable digitally and carry real potential to reconnect with their original rights holders?

Here’s why it’s exciting: over 50% of the artists and rights holders featured on Revibed have discovered us after we brought their music back to life. They found out their long-lost works had been rediscovered, restored, and shared again with the music community.

Now, truth be told, this is a bit of a leap for us. Pulling it off takes time, energy and resources — especially the non-monetary kind. Before we can release anything, we need to:

• Check all available rights databases
• Run the track through YouTube’s soundstamp system for copyright warnings
• Make sure the record isn’t being pirated on P2P networks or shady trackers
• Then, if it’s clear, buy the vinyl and restore it in our Berlin studio

It’s quite a process.

Still, we’d love to make this a weekly ritual — so you always know that, rain or shine, Revibed drops a fresh stack of 7 to 10 unearthed records for you every Thursday (or thereabouts).

At least at the start, we want to stick to affordable records — ideally with a total cost (including shipping to Germany) of no more than €30–35. That way we can keep this separate from our pre-orders, which tend to involve heavier and pricier projects.
