Who was Mr. Pink?

Elsewhere in our catalogue, a different kind of story continues — one rooted in early 90s UK club culture. Mr. Pink is one of those aliases that quietly travelled through dance music’s ecosystem, leaving traces rather than headlines. Behind it was Leiam Sullivan, active across DJing, production and engineering during a formative moment for rave and electronic music in Sheffield and beyond. 

Years later, that material still holds its shape. But don't take our word for it — let the man himself tell you his story. Check it out.

Two releases in particular — “Candy” and “Sugar” — have found their way back into circulation on Revibed. Funky, fast-paced, and unmistakably of their time, they offer a glimpse into a artist who built his reputation on movement, repetition, and atmosphere.
