Hi everyone,
In previous Editor updates, we discussed the return of album-only releases on Revibed, the balance between album-only and track-only releases, and what this means for exclusivity, rights-holder appeal, pushback against piracy, and our playlist makers.
Today, we want to reinforce those ideas by highlighting once again one of Revibed’s most unique features: our Pre-order system.
One of the most powerful things about Revibed is that our community doesn’t have to wait for rare music to slowly appear one track at a time.
Through pre-order projects, you can help bring full albums back into circulation sooner—while gaining access at a much lower price.
On average, joining a pre-order project costs around €4.
In other words, pre-ordering is not just a way to support rare music—it is often the most affordable and direct way to access it.
We’re also working on something new that could make collecting and curating music on Revibed even more exciting. Technically, we should wait before saying more… but we’re always too impatient not to share a glimpse of what our wizards on the dev team are cooking up.
Soon, playlist creators may be able to include tracks from album-only releases (that is, releases less than two years old on the platform) in their playlists. If another user buys that playlist, they would gain access to all tracks in it—even those that normally can’t be purchased separately.
More details on that soon.
For now, keep an eye on the pre-order projects. They remain one of the easiest ways to support rare music, access full releases earlier, and help bring more forgotten recordings back to life.
Here're a some popular projects of the moment:
Thanks for being part of Revibed.
