You can now purchase complete playlists

Hi everyone,

We’re happy to introduce a new Revibed feature that makes it easier to collect, share, and enjoy music on the platform: full playlist purchasing.

From now on, users can create playlists with a minimum of 5 tracks and make them available as complete playlist purchases. Instead of buying individual tracks from a playlist one by one, community members can now buy the entire playlist at once.

The cost of a playlist is calculated automatically: it is the total price of the tracks in that playlist that the buyer has not already purchased. So, if someone already owns part of the playlist, they will only pay for the remaining tracks.

There is one important bonus: when another user buys a full playlist, they gain access to all tracks included in it, even tracks that normally cannot be purchased separately.

This connects to our previous update in how music is made available on Revibed. Music that arrived on the platform less than 24 months ago will be available as albums only, while older material will continue to be available track by track.

With this new playlist feature, users can still discover and access newer tracks as part of carefully curated playlists.

We hope this makes playlists more useful, more exciting to share, and more rewarding for the whole community.
