1990. New York house. The fact it has a 'Zanzibar' (Tony Humpries) mix on it, should be an indication of it's class. This is a nice full on high quality production of early soulful house; vocal, chorus, bridge, the LOT. Lyrics purvey a great message too: 'keep on reaching, it's not that far away'. Dance & hope combined. Never released digitally. Soulful DJ's could do well with a digital version of this.
